Co-wrote “That Teen Show” sold it to Gerber/Carter Communications who syndicated the television series and distributed it in 110 stations nationally. I also served as a co-producer and received my first shot at directing for television working between New York and Hollywood. In addition while working at Gerber Carter Communications I also co-produced “Today’s Black Woman” with Freda Payne where we collaborated many times with Essence Magazine, and the Ebony Fashion Fair.
Shortly after the 3-year stint with Gerber/Carter I worked at the Directors Studio in New York for Lee Tulchin (Studio that filmed the Academy Award wining documentary Summer of Soul). I worked in several studio positions from camera assistant, to set design, and post production on commercials for Este Lauder, various Procter and Gamble products, Cadillac, Chrysler, and many more.
I moved to Central Florida where I started my work in Education at Lyman High School – Institute of Engineering and in 1990 designed curriculum for TV Production, Modeling & Simulation, also designing and building their first TV Studio. At the Institute for Simulation and Training with Jackie Morie and Dr. Mike Moshell I worked on various projects for the U.S. Navy. I would eventually spec over 70 student and government TV/Media streaming facilities.
Today I am working on independent film and animation projects and trying my hand at portable gaming projects.
